Aloha, my name is Kaapuni Kama. Born and raised in Papakolea, I am very grateful to the kupuna and makua that paved the way to make our work today possible. Here at Kula, my role as Program Coordinator of the Kukalahale Learning Project includes supporting the students and families of Lincoln and Pauoa Elementary, Stevenson Middle, and Roosevelt High Schools. In the afternoons, I enjoy serving our keiki in the Lamaku After-School Program as "Aunty Kaa". I also plan and coordinate the Annual Breakfast with Santa event for community families.
I'm a blessed mother of 3 and loved wife to Jeremiah Kama and Kamaka Kaaihue-Kekoa (best friend marriage). Having an amazing support system of family, close friends, and fellow #kulakrew allow me to serve the families of Papakolea, Kewalo, and Kalawahine to the best of my abilities. Mahalo to all who've contributed to my journey and to those I haven't met yet...see you soon!
