ʻAno ʻai me ke aloha!
It has been an honor to be given this opportunity to work for Kula No Nā Poʻe Hawaiʻi. I have been working for KNNPH under our Lamakū After School Program. This program was created to support the youth of Papakōlea. I cannot wait to see them all flourish into brilliant and beautiful keiki. I am blessed with the opportunity to serve our community by doing what I love most, teaching and helping others.
I am 20 years old and a proud member of the ʻOhana Kāneakua on Tantalus Dr. I graduated from Ke Kula Kaiapuni ʻo Ānuenue in 2018 with honors. Since then, I have been pursuing my dream of becoming an Elementary Education Teacher at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. To help our children understand the importance of our cultures language, customs, stories, and knowledge is what I hope to achieve in the future. Pushing the importance of aloha (love) and ʻāina (land) will help me to achieve this. Aside from working and going to school, I love adventuring. I really enjoy going to the beach, hiking, eating at new places, painting, and playing with my puppy.
I am blessed with his opportunity and look forward to what the future holds for us here in Papakōlea! Mahalo.
