Aloha! It has been an honor and blessing to serve and work in this beautiful community of Papakōlea where my father was born and raised. I have a supportive and loving husband and 3 beautiful children. My work in community began in 2013 through volunteer opportunities with New Hope Town Church and UH Manoa's Social Work Program where I served as a practicum student in 2016. Since then, I have been promoted from Program Coordinator to Director of Health & Human Services. I’m a graduate of Kamehameha Schools Class of 2001 and UH Mānoa Class of 2018 with a Master’s in Social Work. I have about 20 years experience working with kūpuna as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Private Caregiver, and Care Home Operator. This experience to care for and serve our precious kūpuna and the greater community has humbled and blessed me in so many ways. I am thankful to God for the opportunities I've been given and I hope to steward them well, helping all those I serve... prosper. :)
